Client: Playing Dead Comic

The Story

A college buddy of mine asked me to help him put his hand-drawn comic online since he had a fair amount of interest locally and wanted to share it with more people. I researched and found iComic, an open-source PHP-based comic/blogging platform, and installed and configured both WordPress and iComic for him.

The comic is now defunct after about five years due to real-life constraints on my friend's part.

What I Did

  • Acquired and set up domain name, hosting, and mail
  • Installed and configured WordPress with a free zombie-apocalypse theme
  • Installed and configured iComic for easy comic uploading
  • Created a green-on-black CSS iComic skin
